Summary:

Dawn Moreno and Helix face off with the new-and-improved Cobra Casino B.A.T.s. They spend a few pages pages fighting off 2, but once they get up into the hotel, Throwdown and Dawn get their swords are are suddenly able to slice apart the B.A.T.s, easily.

All of this is picked up by Dr. Mindbender and Revanche Robotics. Mindbender is happy that “Snake-Eyes” is on Cobra Island, and orders Laura-343 to capture him for the Brainwave Scanner.

Notes:

• I’m not wild about this issue. It’s just the team fighting B.A.T.s and the bad guys watching video screens.
• Groan-worthy lines of the month; Scarlett hollers: “Get ready! I’ve loosed the Sean!”. Helix keeps pace by shouting: “So I’m loosing the Dawn on them”.
• Dawn and Helix are able to elude the B.A.T.s by walking into the public casino. They’re correctly surmise that Cobra doesn’t want to blow their cover to the regular tourists by starting a firefight.
• Once again, it’s pointed out that Genghis Khan’s DNA is taking over the new Serpentor clone. The clone even appears to have long dark hair and a beard, like Genghis Khan. Or Jesus. Or Chris Cornell.
• Jinx is still hiding out in Mindbender’s lab and hears everything.
• On the cover, I’m not sure who that’s supposed to be, to the right of Jinx. A dark-haired female character in gray body-armor?
